Evangel Voice Missions
Kingdom Seminar 2026
Patzcuaro, Mexico
I will be leading a two-day seminar in Pátzcuaro, Mexico, focused on the Kingdom of God. The seminar will be for pastors connected with Kermit and Lucia’s ministry in Mexico. “This gospel of the Kingdom” includes what Jesus taught concerning how to enter and receive the Kingdom, who is eligible to see the Kingdom, and how His Kingdom comes to earth.
In the late 1980s, Dr. John and Lucia Cook had a Kingdom encounter that changed their lives. They were introduced to the ministry of Rev. Loran Helm by some pastors who were part of his ministry. Rev. Helm invited them to Indiana from Mexico. A deep, lasting relationship began, which included Dr. Cook connecting his life, family, and ministry to Rev. Helm because of the Kingdom life and love he experienced. John raised up pastors and trained them consistent with what he learned from his spiritual father.
Dr. Cook passed away in 2009. The pastors made a decision to remain connected to Lucia, and they remain so today. Rev. Helm’s autobiography—an excellent manual for walking with Jesus—has been an important part of their journey. They continue to distribute the book in Mexico.
We are going to bring encouragement and edification to these pastors, along with any others who attend as guests of the Bethsaida ministerial group.
Thank you for your support, which you can contribute through Plainfield Christ Fellowship. Thank you for praying for me, Richie West, Jack Horton, and Javier Calderon as we travel together to spend these days with the pastors in the state of Michoacán, Mexico.
