Dear Friends in Christ,
We asked the Lord to help us as we gathered together to wait upon His guidance and work. He answered our cries and granted us a sacred and powerful time together in each session. We owe God much praise and thanksgiving for His presence and guidance.
I want to thank all of you who pressed to come. There was much sacrifice and, in some cases, much difficulty. The Lord is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. You will receive the reward of the Lord in the days to come.
I want to share appreciation to those who contributed so much to the West Virginia Waiting. Kermit and Lucia graciously invited and allowed us to use the Believers Building which they prepared at great cost and effort. They are people of Biblical hospitality. We are very thankful that Pastor and Linda Wright would come to be with us Friday evening. The message Pastor Wright delivered from the story of Bartimaeus was inspiring and edifying. We are also very thankful for Rev. Tyler and Rebecca Garth who traveled from Michigan to be part of the Waiting. His message Saturday morning was foundational and flowed from the apostolic foundation upon which his life and ministry is based.
Pastor Taylor’s two-part teaching on Sanctification was delivered in anointed excellence. It is a standard for the model of combining teaching with waiting. Both are needed for the edification of the Body. The video and notes and both posted here on the Evangel Voice website.
Our prophetic praise team brought great help to the sessions. Pastor Taylor, Molly, Nathan Abraham, Audrey, and Joshua were greatly used of God. Will and Alanna Davis work together as the video tech team. Their ministry facilitates God working not only in the room but in all those places where the livestream reaches.
Beverly Powell and Connie Kilbourne provided true Kingdom hospitality. We felt the care which pleased the heart of God. They worked tirelessly days before and during the waiting to make sure we were fed and blessed throughout.
I want to thank Stephen and Michelle Carpenter, James and Elizabeth Doss, and Bishop Flemings for helping us prepare our hearts for the Waiting sessions. The love which flows from their heart to Jesus and His Body helped us get ready to respond to the direction of the Holy Spirit.
There were many who labored behind the scenes as servants to God and His people. Delbert and Anna have been helping for weeks and continued throughout and after the Waiting. Judy and Calvin worked to help maintain excellence in things unnoticed. Libby contributed much in helping maintain a clean and fresh condition in the building.
Prayer is the spiritual engine for the work of God. Thank you for praying. Thank you for giving for the work of this ministry. Evangel Voice Missions, as Pastor Taylor has stated, is a steward of the apostolic message that was delivered through the life and ministry of Rev. Loran Helm. The regional waitings that we have sponsored in Nebraska, Texas, South Carolina, Indiana, Jerusalem, and now West Virginia are helping us maintain a vision for waiting upon God as a lifestyle. We don’t know if and when the Holy Spirit will lead again for another waiting but we are very thankful He has allowed us to be together for these days.
Please continue to join us for the Saturday morning Prayer Connection. The purpose is to encourage those who pray and to come into agreement for that which the Holy Spirit highlights in the moment.
